Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We only set cookies that the Service needs to work. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't let third parties set cookies on our websites.

easyscraper.com, where the extension's docs, changelog and scraping test pages are, sets no cookies. You don't need an account to use the extension, so most people never get the login cookies either.
Similar technologies
- Local storage on our websites: Both websites remember whether you chose the light or dark theme in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
- The browser extension's storage: The extension keeps its settings, your scrapers and its own state (for example, whether it has asked you to review it) in the browser's extension storage, on your device. To understand how the extension is used and improve it, it also stores a random identifier there and sends usage events (such as which features are used) with it to our analytics providers, Amplitude and PostHog, as described in our Privacy Policy. This identifier isn't a cookie, isn't linked to your name, email or an account, and isn't used for advertising. The extension doesn't read the cookies of the websites you scrape.
Your choices
Because our cookies are needed for the Service to work, we don't ask for consent to them. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, but then you can't stay logged in to app.easyscraper.com. Removing the extension deletes its storage.
Changes
We'll update this page when we add or change a cookie, and change the date at the top.
